Word list: dwyl/english-words words_alpha.txt (Unlicense, public domain dedication), filtered to words occurring >= 2 times in a random sample of 7000 long English Wikipedia articles (Wikimedia dump 2026-07-01); only the words, not any text, are kept.
Cleaned on 2026-10-09 (pipeline/clean_wordlist.py): proper nouns, abbreviations and contraction fragments removed using Open English WordNet (CC BY 4.0, https://en-word.net/) lemma lists and word counts from Tatoeba sentences released under CC0. No WordNet or Tatoeba text is included in this file.
